Habitat: Biphasic leaf orientation changes from subsessile, scale-like leaves appx 2cm long, which are appressed on lower reaches, to petiolate leaves about 3X as large held horizontally to ground on upper (at about 5ft) outward growing branches. Syconia (6.5 cmL x 4cmW) only appear on upper branches with the greatest southern exposure. growing on "Voodoo Shed" at residence of 718 South Maple st, Columbia, SC.
