Habitat: Abundant herb, found growing approx. 1-2 dm tall, beneath the stairs of the Pritchard's Is. Dorm. Found with Persa borbonia, Quercus hemispherica, and Geranium carolinianum. Stems and heads covered in cotton like white hair. Found SW of Fripp Is., on Pritchard's Is., approx. 200 yards from the shoreline, in a Maritime forest environment.
