Habitat: Corolla bright orange; climbing vine at edge of swamp in partial shade with Carex curs-corvi, C. intumescens, C. amphibola, C. tribuloides, C. lurida, C. albolutescens, Rhynchospora miliacea, Sisyrinchium rosulatum, Persicaria setacea, Galium tinctorium, Lygodium japonicum, campsis radicans, Paspalum urvillei, Juncus acuminatus, Justicia ovata, Dichanthelium longiligulatum, Carpinus caroliniana; northest side of Abercorn Island and just west of old jeep trail, just south of Abercorn Creek, 1.9 air miles west-southwest of downtown Purrysburg.
