Habitat: Piedmont seepage forest - the vegetation is dominated by hydrophytic tree species, namely, red maple, swamp tupelo gum, american elm and pumkin ash. Go 2.3 miles from the junction of US-25 and US_276, turn right on Blue Ridge Road. Go to the end and turn left on Shelton Road. Preserve is on right about 0.4 miles from turn.
